About the Organization
Our Mission
Broken Crayons Can Still Color is a non-profit organization committed to empowering directly impacted individuals—including youth and those affected by trauma, addiction, and the criminal legal system—through comprehensive support services and bold policy advocacy. Our mission is to provide transformative programs that foster self-sufficiency, healing, and long-term change.
We offer grassroots advocacy training, civic engagement opportunities, and leadership development to equip individuals with the tools to lead and influence systemic reform. By centering lived experience, leveraging community partnerships, and mobilizing volunteers, we aim to break cycles of harm and create pathways to justice, equity, and personal transformation.
